Charith Asalanka was officially signed with the Mumbai Indians for IPL 2025 as a replacement signing for South African all-rounder Corbin Bosch, who left due to international commitments. Asalanka was signed for Rs. 75 lakhs, and he could play from the playoffs if the Mumbai Indians qualify. He can bring firepower as well as stability to MI’s middle-order.
