Domestic Career
Considering the fact that by the time it was 19, Bharat had already started keeping wickets so it only made sense that he became so excellent at it that by February 2015, he had already won the title of being the first wicket-keeper batsman to score a triple 100 in the Ranji Trophy.
This was his trump card because he got noticed the most after this, and that’s when he got into the Indian Premier League teams.
Indian Premier League (IPL) Career
Back in 2015, Bharat was acquired for INR 10 lakhs by the IPL franchise team, Delhi Daredevils. Unfortunately, in that season, he did not get a game and was even released before the next season. However, in 2018, his name was mentioned in the squad for the 2018 Duleep Trophy.
In February 2021, Srikhar was bought by the IPL franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore before the 2021 IPL season. During the match, he played several matches, which only enhanced his popularity.
He especially gained more recognition after the last-ball six that he played against the Delhi Capitals. In the next year, he was bought by Delhi at the 2022 IPL auction for a price of INR 2 crores. However, he was again not given a chance to play and was once again released for the next season.
Later in December 2022, he was acquired by Gujarat Titans for the 2023 IPL match for a base price of INR 1.2 crores, and in the following year, he was acquired for the 2024 match by Kolkata Knight Riders at a base price of INR 50 lakhs.

International Career
In 2019, Srikar was added in India’s Test squad against Bangladesh as a cover for the player, Wriddhiman Saha. In the following year, he was added to India’s Squad for their ODI against Australia. This was shortly after Rishab Pant’s concussion case.
In the following year, Bharat had started gaining traction and recognition as he was named one of the five standby players for India’s Test squad series against England, and by May 2021, he was added to India’s list as a cover for Wriddhiman.
In 2021, Bharat was once again called in, and he took the field while playing for India against world test champions New Zealand. This was a replacement for Saha. As the match went on, Bharat kept wicket and managed to take 2 catches behind the stumps, thus dismissing Tom Latham.
In the following year, he got more recognition and was named in India’s Test squad against Sri Lanka, and once again against England in May that year.
